Before going home, each puppy:
Undergoes a comprehensive examination by a veterinarian and receives a detailed health examination form.
Is vaccinated by the veterinarian. Note that many veterinarians may not honor vaccines administered by breeders due to potential ineffectiveness, which may necessitate repeat vaccinations at the owner’s expense.
Is microchipped by the veterinarian.
Receives a thorough eye examination and OFA certification from veterinary ophthalmologist Dr. Olivero.
Is de-wormed with a broad-spectrum de-wormer. Despite our biannual fecal tests being negative for worms and parasites, puppies are de-wormed as a precaution.
